About Us

Rampway takes its name from Kell Hall's trademark ramps. Originally GSU's yearbook, Rampway was formed in 1946. For decades, it catalogued the faces and memories of GSU's heritage before its end in 1998.

From the ashes of the yearbook came GSU's first and only online media group. Rampway Online took its place in cyberspace on March 20th, 2000.

Rampway Online is the student-run, online magazine at Georgia State University. Rampway provides articles covering a wide span of topics and different aspects of multimedia. Rampway gives students experience in journalism, web design and maintenance, public relations and marketing.

As the yearbook, Rampway brought students and groups together merely through words and pictures. Today, however, Ramwpay has expanded that mission to bring them together by providing a place for them to share everything from those original purposes to ideas, experiences, events, as well as audio and video musings of all kinds.

If you wish to know more about Rampway, you may email our Director/Editor-in-Chief, Allison Young , for more information.
